"As a breast cancer Survivor myself, I know how a little encouragement can make a big difference."
For over 20 years, Elizabeth, has been paper crafting. Known as The Crafty Cricket, she takes orders for custom cards and invitations. Every few months, she brings in a collection of handmade encouragement cards to The Pink House for our use in comfort bags and other Survivor & Thriver outreach activities.
As someone who was on the receiving end of several acts of kindness during her treatment, Elizabeth knows first-hand how impactful encouraging words can be.
"I received support from CBF when I was going through my breast cancer journey," says Elizabeth. "If it weren't for my friends, family and support team I'm not sure how I would have made it through the hard days. I'm so happy to be able to pay it forward using my talent to help someone else who's on this journey."
